If exposed to intense sunlight, the fibers are prone to thermal expansion and contraction, which can exacerbate shedding from the brushed surface.

　　4. Use camphor to prevent moisture. When storing brushed pure cotton items, place a camphor ball or a desiccant inside to effectively ward off dampness. Since prolonged storage can compromise the durability of textile fabrics due to brushing and moisture absorption, it’s also advisable to periodically take out and air-dry stored bedding.
